Companion to The Eye Of Time, The Eye Of Space experiments with textures and reductions. Starting with an Ivory base, a color that reacts to certain other glasses, thin lines of Gold Aventurine are added, creating the darker lines and splotches. Then spots of Helios reduction glass are added, with the larger pools getting a central dot of Red. Repeated heating and rolling gives the glass the complex patterns and craquelure. The last touch is exposing the marble to a reduction flame, which turns the Helios into mirrored silver.
