Street Heart

This bead was created in the first week's class, but the last stages (shielding and sandblasting) were performed in the fifth week. The bead is a Yellow glass core, with successive layers of colored powder enamel applied and melted in (Orange, White, and Blue). Then the enamel was boiled to reveal some layers and give a rough finish. After that, heart-shaped stickers were applied and the bead sandblasted to give the final texture. The small hearts get somewhat lost in the result, but it has a kind of street art feel about it.
