The first pendant, Nachtmere Kinder ("nightmare child"), illustrates the difference between thinking you know how to do something versus actually knowing how. Starting with an Ivory core, stripes of Red opaque, Uranium glow glass, and Rocio Silver Mist were added. This resulted in basically a twist marble, which was then mashed flat and given a layer of Clear on the front. The result borders on outsider art if one is feeling charitable, or pure junk if not. Whatever the case, it was a first step into a new design for me, as well as an object lesson in the value of learning from a teacher, which I did immediately afterwards.
