The Seascape marble was another experiment, one which I had purchased specific glass for. The base is a full rod of pale aqua glass shaped into a sphere. This was then rolled in transparent millefiori and heated until the millefiori partially melted. Then a layer of clear glass was added on top. The whole was heated and given a slight twist to further mimic oceanic currents. This one looks quite nice in reality, especially with light showing through it so that you can see the oceanic forms within.
